149 pts ;D

Add that to Richardson's 11 and matera's 127 and it averages out to roughly 95 each. Would have been stoked with that coming into the round!!

60's against port power next week???  I'm not too sure about that.

Petrie B/W 2006 and 2009 averaged 89, 88, 95, and 91.  Averaging 90 in the 3 games this year.  Some weeks he will score 60, some 100, and some 149 like tonight, but over the course of the season should average about 90 if we look at past history, which may still represent value for a player who will be priced in the mid 200's this week, and with a score of 149 tonight, and the 2 scores of 60 both dropping off in the next 2 weeks, should have a negative B/E, and a reasonable price rise over the coming weeks.  I didn't take him from the outset, but with suspension and bye now out the way, I'm considering whether to get on now.  Contested marks are SC gold, and he takes plenty of them, even against quality opponents, and is capable of kicking a bag of goals.

roo boys!

Remember when he kicked 6 in a quarter against the Dogs? That's the kinda stuff he does.

I do indeed RooBoys.  Against Brian Lake, who's certainly no mug.

191 SC points that day.  That's the sort of score I don't want to miss out on.

Yeah exactly, so I really think he is value for money this year.

At the game today there were a few pack contests and I thought "Petrie won't get this one!" then all of a sudden he just flings himself at the ball and clasps it :D

ClarksonsArmy

LoL to all those flogs who paid out on him! 149 points BANG!!!

He is a great player in 2011 gives cove fro your rucks with MPP and a 7th fwd at 220 - SUPER

All for a rookie fwd @ 220k investment, happy 6th fwd was kRAKs and due to Darling not playing had a handy matera's score counting.... just hope kraks isnt a late inclusion...

Yeah I went and had a look as well Rooboys.  Also good point Clarksons army and ajjewell.  He was very good tonight.

From a Roos point of view, I wish we had of had 22 Drew Petries tonight.  Very Good pair of hands, and his possessions will mostly be contested.  I think I will bring him into my team this week, at the expense of either Richo, Krak, or Knights.

Krak and knights is sort of sideways, but krak is not going to make any of us any more cash anytime soon.  Knights has good JS, but has been average with his scores, but I'm leaning towards Richo.

Richo promised a lot pre season, but has been less than inspiring so far.  He can get the ball, but his disposal and decision making is lacking at this level and I think North probably have to give him a run in the 2's, and bring back Pederson.

I chose Petrie round 1 and stuck with him, because  I knew he what he was capable of.

Yeah if only we had 22 Petries..or 22 Swallows :( Or 22 Boomer Harveys..

It was on Brian Harris, who is far inferior to Brian Lake. Plus a few of them where on Chris Grant. No more slandering of Lake's name around these parts thank you.

22 harveys in his peak would be crazy, would get kiled in the ruck and overhead, but they would run the other team into the ground, the only thing i can think off which would be worse would be a team of swans or the worst a team of goddards.

Nice one Meow.  I like your sense of humour.  Harris may have become a better player when he became Lake.

Chris Grant was an absolute champion, and should be a brownlow medalist.  Who did he give that little love tap to, was it Nick Holland?  I cant recall if he got one week, or just ineligible for the incident re being found guilty, but just getting sighted for it was just as ridiculous as the Chris Dawes incident.  Neither warrants missing a game or missing a brownlow.
