my son turns 13 in a couple of weeks.i have no idea what to do for it.whether to have a party of some kind at home or whether to take him and some of his mates out somewhere.
also he pretty much has everything(ipod and dock,laptop,psp,playstation) what would be a good idea for a 13th birthday pressie.
the idea i had for his pressie will now turn into his chrissie present as you have to be 14yrs to do it.

Take him and his mates to a sporting event or movies/whatever floats his boat.

Does he follow the footy? Could get him membership for his B'day?

yeah suppose we could renew his membership to the eagles but it`s really nothing much as he can`t go to the games with it anyway.

Hmm. If he already has everything, get hims something limited.
For instance a collectors item or some kind of memorabilia.

For instance last brithday my parents bought me a box set of the works of Leo Tolstoy. All in spectacular hardback. I loved it and appreciated it more than things like ipods, as it will never become outdated and I can keep it for me entire life. He may not want something like that but you get the drift.

Also if you can find a way to get your hands onto classic arcade games.

Also experiences like skydiving are always great.

There is some West Coast stuff there. Ultimately it is very hard for us to decide as we don't know him, I'd just say gifts tailored to his likes will be much more appreciated than common gifts like ipods.
