I would go Enright, his fully bottomed out.  I think you should get Shaw over Enright IF you can work out a way to get Enright before his price bounces back up.  I can't see how your going to do that.

Swallow > Mzungu (if named otherwise Smith)
Toy > Enright

vs

Lower > Shaw

ROUND 10

Matera > Lynch/Mzungu
Tapscott > Chapman (when he plays gold coast)

Enright has a B/E 131 i think so he should have another week of price drops. Shaw is now or forever keep your peace.

Swallow > smith/zungus = 296.3 remaining for DEF upgrade

+ Lower = 576
+ Thompson = 560.3

then  Lower >Enright would give me 162k to play with later..

If I go Shaw over Enright.. it be Lower > Shaw gives me around 99kleft.. possibly do a Heppell > Enright perhaps with 1 trade. Unless Thompson goes up a fair bit somehow..

Enright has already dropped 63k, just get him now, as you are in obvious need of a defender.  I know he can drop maybe 10k more but big deal.

Heath Shaw price will go up, but it won't stay up all the time.  IMO, your not prioritizing your trades correctly imo, at the end of the year they could average very similar numbers.

I also don't like how Toy has often been the sub, so he is the first to go for me.

Trust me your not missing the boat, if you get Heath Shaw after his bye.

Fair point. Spose I'm trying to catch the Shaw train but would be using most of my spare cash. Enright is usually a solid performer. Toy has been disappointing. I'm not even sure he's in the starting 22. Cool, so if I go Enright I'm gaining around an avg of 20-25 ppg over Thompson as Thompson can warm the pine. Works out I'll have 89k left if I go Swallow > Smith/Mzungu and Toy > Enright.

with toy gone, your backline would look more solid now.  Both thompson and batchelor won't score high, but I think they will be reliable guys for cover throughout the year.

i can't see how your going to fit another premium in the mids at this stage.  so your better off going for someone like chapman in the subsequent rounds and leaving him in the mids.  I am pretty sure  you will have enough from merging matera and tapscott.

just hope things pick up with bewick so you can turn him into a premium.  Harris/darling/heppel are 3 people you MUST keep, at least for cover.

Yeah Bewick has been a bit unlucky really. At least he is playing straight away after his injury.  Hope he can just keep playing till the end of the year then maybe Harris could eventually go. But I would prefer to keep Harris. Chappy will be a FWD upgrade target next I think. Due a big game and prob will do it friday night.

the way i've got mine organised (already have chappy) is that i can get

shaw this week, pendlebury next week, then enright (at still 410k).

if you can work out a way to get both shaw and enright, at the cheap (before collingwoods first bye), i think that would be really good.
