don't forget petrie missed rnd 1 [suspended],  played rnd 2, bye rnd 3, played rnd 4 against a pretty hot dockers side. it's a bit hard to get consistency into his game. may improve against the tiges this week.

Good point. Argh this is a hard decision :-\

you're a Kangaroos supporter so you want to pick Petrie despite the evidence suggesting you should pick Smith  :P

Take Petrie IMO. you got him for a reason and he is playing richmond :)

I disagree, i would have said smith last week, and I will probably say smith again this week.  Apparently the ball was not going to petrie at all in the forward 50.

If you see petrie kicking goals against the tigers, then go petrie.

Otherwise I would go smith, he has done nothing wrong to suggest not starting him over petrie.

just because krakoar/knights/petrie/etc is more expensive than some rookies, it will not stop me benching him, and startin tapps and darling.

Same applies for rucks.

Ill hold you to that CS. l'm confident on this one. :P

like i said, if you see petrie kicking goals, yes thats the correct decisiion.

as a roos support, rooboy should be in a pretty good position to know whats going on.

I would have said smith, but not by much!!!  I don't even have petrie in my team, so that it self says a lot about my bias!!!

haha I dont have petrie either. but he could explode against tigers.

charliesheen

petrie averages 77 against richmond and ethiad Stadium 84

if that helps you rooboy.

who rucks for port adelaide?

roo boys!

I will be going for Petrie after all. Could kick a bag. Looked pretty good at training on Thursday, and I'll be at the game on Sunday cheering him on ;)

For Port I think Brogan and Trengove ruck don't they?

charliesheen

after looking at his stats he does have a pretty good record against the tigers

if you take out the 14 from early on his career, he would have quite a healthy average against them

roo boys!

I'm guessing a lot of forwards would have Hugh averages against Tigers ;)

But seriously, thanks for the great advice mate :)

charliesheen

np.

basically it comes to this, Current Form vs Previous Record/History.

they could well end up scoring the same.  i am more inclined to go for current form, but thats just me.

roo boys!

Yeah, and first year players are usually suspect to a few down game per year, maybe that will be this week? ;)

roo boys!

Well Brogan just a late withdrawl from Port...and the poll is 10-3 in favour of Smith..looks like I will go with Smith this week.
