Master Q

There's been about 1000 threads on this, so I thought I'd just put this out there so everyone thinking about this will make there minds up.

If you have Broughton or Duffield, Trade them. Full Stop. I have started with both, and both of them are no longer in my team and have been traded.

This is what I did:

Last Week: Broughton ---> Adcock
This Week: Duffield --- > Gram

If you already have Adcock another downgrade option is Toy, but if you have other good Back benches you don't really need it. Feel free to post your thoughts below on this topic.

glynman90

I picked Adcock from the start so I downgraded him to Toy and then upgraded Krak to Higgins so now I've solved two problems in one week (hopefully).

Broughton is more of a SC player IMO.

Q, am I in a different boat considering I've already made 4 trades and probably have to go Coad --> Toy this week (meaning a 5th trade!!!)?
I am despising Broughton's scoring at the moment, but can't see any premium options to trade him to and definitely can't afford another downgrade trade.

Footy God

Yeaaa....well. I missed the Adcock train and dont have enough cash for Gram. I also have Toy.

Going to hold Broughton, considering Broughton-Hibberd then using the cashhh (220k) to go Swallow-Chappy in two weeks??

At this stage:
Goddard, Gibbs, Deledio, Grimes, Broughton, Duigan, Otten (Lower, Stanley, Toy)
Swan, Bartel, Montagna, Boyd, Swallow, Heppel (Savage, Harris , Bewick)
Sandi, Cox (Smith, Derickx)
Chappy,Riewoldt, Higgins, Stevie J, Knights, Darling, Tapscott (Matera, Krak, Richardson)

24 trades in hand

What should I do Q??

this thread won't stop other threads on the same topic. some people are ignorant and don't read the posts that are of concern to them. they think that by putting in their own posts they are going to get a million replies, when in fact regular users are getting sick and tired of reading and answering the same questions.

bundyboy

so tired of this question.... !!

thank goodnes price changes this week will probably mean broughton bottoms out, and adcock / gram go up to make trades too expensive, and toy downgrade not as attractive....

please...........no more.... :'(

I'm not sure. All I'm saying is get rid of both of them while you can.

That's not a bad plan. You do realise Broughton is going to drop in price and that could ruin your plan however. I think Adcock will be a keeper for me, so I still think it's not to late to get him.

I agree with you, but you gotta try.

keep broughton, trade duffield
I'm not with you on that one.

Windigo

I think people will still post threads on this topic. Hoping they will get some different opinions/advice.

Instead of an out right order "TRADE OUT BROUGHTON!"

It is getting quite repetitive all these threads but.  >:(

I have planned out my trades and once I take away my cash cow/upgrade trades I'll have roughly 6 left for injuries. Broughton was not a player I had intended on trading and don't think I can afford to waste a trade on a player who is not injured. I'm just praying that he comes good - at least good enough to be my 7th backman!

7th Backmen.  ;)

4 games is hardly something to judge guys that have averaged 80's for 2 years running on...
