Also we're forgetting that Adcock only scored over 25 in 1 quarter! He was great in the 3rd but thats about it. He was fairly lucky to get to 119

Bluke

Doesnt matter how he gets them. The fact is he goth them... 119 of them... and If you have him you should be happy. If you dont you should think about getting him in. Although, at 340,000k are there better options? He is expensive now and you take a big risk bringing him in if after he has already risen in price (primarily because he is injury prone).

Ziplock

swan frequently has low scoring games and then gets like 50-60 points in a quarter...

That's true.

Windigo

I watched the game and he looked pretty good.

Master Q

Adcock has always been a star just he has an ongoing problem with injuries...

yorgis

there were so many posts about picking adcock, because he's injury prone. so how can you say that everyone should have had him from the start ? easy to say now, but he's only played 4 games and still a long way to go . i had him from the start and just hoping that the risk i took pays off

To be honest, it was always worth the risk. Just like Waters, Malceski, and Kennelly last season. Seeing as there weren't a whole bunch of cheap mid-priced defenders like last season, Adcock was one of the easier picks for me to begin with. He was unlikely to average under 70 if he did string games together and if he goes down with injury now, I just cash in.

Which is far more than what I can say for the many underperforming premiums in defence...

Hahahahahaha!!!  ;D

Great thread guys!

The rookie mistake here though is how emotional you all are! I love the 2010 prospector artice by team director, in a nut shell it says every mistake is a rookie mistake and every good decision is a brilliant one when really it's so much luck, if you don't have the luck you cant win it. So no wasting time on what if's!

The rookie mistake would have been trading out Adcock after round 1... which I nearly did!
Or my big rookie mistake of logging on and doing  bit of research for some S coach trades and not actually doing my substitutes leaving Monty Goddard Adcock and Roo on the bench! considering im 220th overall in it I was rather devistated when I checked my score last night, FML.

Adcock played allot of time in the middle last night, if that keeps up, I reckon his high scores will continue.

Davoo

i agree that he looked good last night, especially in the the third quarter, but too risky to get him in now. dont like the look of 7 in the last quarter either...

Windigo

Quote7 in the last quarter either...

Still liked the look of 119 for the game. But I agree, his to expensive now.
