Requesting thoughts on Broughton > Hibberd

My aim of this is to get Heppell from my mid bench on to the ground in the backs effectively replacing broughton. hibberd will then rest on the pine in the mids.

My backs bench lower, stanley, batchelor

My mids bench Heppell, Libba, Harris

this downgrade allows heppell onto the ground in place of broughton whilst freeing up cash to trade krakeour > fyfe or even chapman

There's nothing wrong with that plan.

If it was me, I'd be looking at Broughton to a cash cow for now (like Toy/Smith), then think about the Hibberd trade when he actually gets named? I know you won't get your use out of Heppel yet, but I personally don't like benchies not making me $$ :P

Same here. And he was listed, but he won't play.

with Dempsey gone for the season it looks like a solid plan Hib running HB seems the obvious replacement...

ok ...just trying to utilise heppell in the backs instead of the mid bench.

my backs: goddard, gibbs, enright, bruce, broughton, duigan, otten (lower, stanley, Batchelor)
      mids: swan, pendles, boyd, montagna, selwood, curnow (heppell, libba, harris)

instead of broughton > hibberd what about batchelor > hibberd or this a waste?

all teams should come out 5pm today, just like they do every week..... with the final teams (including benches) at 5pm friday.

given there is a monday and tuesday game... those teams will remain extended bench by lockout.

probably not a bad idea if it gets heppell onto the field, it is a risk, but i could be better in the long run than getting toy in and starting him instead of heppell. Good luck  ;)

broughton > hibberd allows heppel to go from mid bench to start back.

frees up cash to go hale in forward bench to fyfe/didak/chappy. Hale/Petrie link has been crap so far plus I've been playing cox and smith anyway.
