G'day....

I've decided i can't start Gazza from round 1; i heard even if he scores 120 each week for the 1st five weeks he'll still drop in value.
Anyways im not really all over how a player loses or gains value properly - i do hav a basic understanding how its worked out over three games but how the math works?? - i m not sure!!
Therefore my question is this, wat does Gazza Ablett need to score to maintain his value for 3 weeks??
I need ablett in my team as quickly as possible so im thinking about leaving $600,000 in the bank at the start and see how quickly i can convert a cash cow into ablett straight from the go - just as $700k or so is bloody steep!! I couldn't care less about maximising profit from a rookie i want Gazza in ASAP!!

Can anyone shed some light on how the value systems work and perhaps even guestimate abletts value given his average scores against the 1st teams the cats play - i can't find Ablett's SUPERCOACH averages for H&A against each team so can't use that as a guide to hypothetically figure out his value.

Anybody else thinking about this tactic of leavin cash in the bank for Gaz as a means 4 a quick trade in HOPING his value drops???

Banzai-

His avg in 08 was 132, so he has to avg 132 to stay at the same value.

FWIW, the way scoring change works (as far as i know) is they work out what someone who avg'd the player's last 3 weeks avg would cost, and alter their price by 1/4 of the difference.

E.g. a 700k player scored like a 600k player (~111 points per game judging by boomers price) for the last 3 weeks, he would lose 25k

thanks mate, maybe that tactic aint gonna work to well cos Gazza looks on fire - i reckon the man will score 130 each week atm moment n it doesn't matter who is on him
