Why Adelaide has the best draw from Round 7

For those after a league win and interested in the draw from Round 7...

4 teams have 2 affected byes:
Pt Adelaide
Carlton
Collingwood
Essendon

4 teams have 1 affected bye:
Gold Coast
St Kilda
West Coast
Hawthorn
W Bulldogs
Nth Melbourne
Richmond
Geelong

5 teams have 0 affted byes:
Adelaide*
Melbourne
Sydney
Brisbane*
Freo

*Of the teams with 0 affected byes only Adelaide and Brisbane get to play Gold Coast twice (and Collingwood once each).  On balance I'd put Adelaide slightly in front.  As a result S Thompson and G Johncock are high on the list of upgrade targets.

Their last four rounds are similar:

Adelaide play (Geel, GC, Rich, WC)
Brisbane play (GC, Coll, WC, Syd)

Very interesting though, certainly makes me consider Crows upgrade targets. I like Brownys chance of making his way in as well :)
