It seems Ariel Steinberg i really stepping it up in the VFL taking some great marks and kicking some good goals. Who else do we really think is gonna make a name for themselves this year? Who will step up?

Ariel looks like a great tall prospect, and his name is just awesome 8) Been very impressed by what I have seen from him so far this season. I think we will need a few players to really step up with 2 ACLs so early in the year. Browne and Hibberd look likely to come in for Dempsey. Doesn't this also mean that we can elevate 2 rookies?

if Hille is to come in i am not sure who will go out, because Hird says he has no problems with 3 ruckmen.

Also, Andrew Welsh, part of the leadership group and can be very valuable this week if Hocking can take Pendlbury and if Welsh does get in he can take Swan.

Steinberg is playing great at Bendigo.
Essendon has good depth with Reimers, Hibberd, Welsh and Steinberg waiting in the wings.
Not to mention Bellchambers as backup for a Hille or Ryder injury. :)

I don't think anyone will be backup, with the way Belly is playing he can't be dropped and Jimmy has said he is comfortable with playing 3 rucks so all is well...

i think a couple of players can go to the VFL to find some form, Ryder, Monfries get Davey and Welsh in and then have the 2 big men.

now welsh is injured, and now dempsey and winderlich have been moved to LTI, crameri will take one of those senior list spots while i think Neagle will get one last chance on the senior list. If Steinberg continues to play well he can't not get a game, he just looks great imo

Can't see Neagle getting another chance. Just won't happen... Steinberg looks good but I'm not sure who he'd come in for.
