Pav has had his charge of reckless downgraded to negligent. This takes his points loading to 45 which means he is still eligible for the brownlow

is pav really that big a favourite for the brownlow anyway, i mean he is a good player and i know how defensive of him you are Valko but i didn't think he was any chane for the brownlow, not a big one anyway

From following the tribunal live Pav was worried about the fact that the charge was deemed reckless. I think he wanted to keep his good standing in the game more than anything. Pav is on the rules committee and understands the difference between reckless and negligent and all his defense was based around being negligent not reckless.

In 240 games Pav has never been suspended and has only been charged once (which was thrown out) so I think this was more about his good standing than anything else.

because last year Judd was really the only half decent player in Carlton's entire team lol.

What happened during the glory days of Eagles during the mid 2000's - Judd, Cousins, Kerr. Everyone said there was too much competition from all of its stars but yet Judd and Cousins both won Brownlows (Kerr also came damn close)

What about Brisbane before that - Aker and Black both won Brownlows

In recent times you have Geelong - Bartel and Ablett both winning Brownlows

I am quite confident that someone from Collingwood will win the Brownlow this year.

Me to Valks. I also suspect that it could be a reason why pendlebury has a hideous hair cut atm. Just like aka and woewodin had blonde hair. goodes had dark skin, cousins had his rippling body, ablett had his bald head. Just little standout features that can HELP a player win the brownlow.

That is not to say that the players aren't good(es) lol, but having standout features like daisy thomas' blonde hair wont harm their chances. Also include players you recognise instantly when they get the ball, aka. Pav, J Brown, N Riewoldt, Bartel etc.
