there's the game on thursday, no game on friday, then game on saturday. does that mean you can edit your team up until saturday's first game?

Problems

From the DT website mate:

How does the Round 5 Partial Lockout system work?
- The competition will go into a 'Partial Lockout' mode at the start of the Brisbane v St Kilda game, at 7:45pm AEST on Thursday, April 21.

- Once in Partial Lockout mode, any Brisbane or St Kilda players selected in your team will be 'locked in' - you'll no longer be able to substitute or trade them, or name them as Captain, Vice Captain or Emergencies.

- Similarly, Brisbane and St Kilda players will no longer be able to be traded in.

- You may continue to edit your team as usual with the remaining players and teams up until the start of the Saturday afternoon match between Port Adelaide and Gold Coast, at 3:15pm AEST, April 23. The competition then goes into FULL LOCKOUT mode with the complete teams locked in. NO further team editing is possible.

- If you have selected a Captain, Vice Captain and/or any Emergencies from your Brisbane or St Kilda players prior to the Thursday night, they can NO longer be de-selected or changed. If you did not, these options will remain available to you through to the full lockout on Saturday afternoon, for players from the remaining 6 matches.

- Similarly if you plan to make trades and substitutions between 7:45pm on Thursday and Saturday afternoon, you cannot make those changes with Brisbane or St Kilda players (i.e. you can't substitute a Brisbane player from the bench and into your Starting 22, once the match is under way and a partial lockout is in effect).

Lockout thursday night, re-opens after the game Thursday, then lock out again Saturday. Yes you can edit your team up until saturday.

Problems

You lads know exactly how the captaincy rules work this week?
If I put the VC on Montanga/God this Thursday and that player scores well is there anyway to turn the C off all other players?? Or must I take a punt and give captaincy to a Saint/Lion and hope for the best?

keffa

Yeah you can put the VC on a Saints player.  If that player does well I reckon you don't have to actually make anyone captain.  But if you do, give the Captaincy to a player you know won't play (such as Adam Goodes or Jack Darling).

Definitely worth doing, two cracks at captain is better than one!

TheHanger

Yeah what you do is make a Saint Vice, then swap out your captain outside the saints game with someone who wont play and you make that person captain and you make the swapped out player the emergency. That way you can sub them back in if you want them to be captain or leave them as emergency so they still score for you but dont take captaincy
