Goodes V Bartel

I have goodes at the momen.t, but i have some money in the bank because of  some recent trades what to do, I am thinking bartel but if theres any other players you think are better options please say so..............

Mids- Ablett. G, Judd, J. Selwood, D. Rich, S. Mitchell em. Beams, Swift

Goodes v Bartel??? Are ya nutty??!!!!!
Bartel = top shelf, A-grade DT performer
Goodes = barely above spudness, just below mediocre DT performer
There are some great players in the AFL that just arent suited to DT scoring. Goodes is one of them. I am afraid it is a no contest!
(I could name 50 midfielders that I would select before Goodes, and Bartel would be my first choice every day).

Goodes looks set for a good season.

I have both Bartel and Goodes in my SC team. Goddes always averages above 100 and 2 years ago averaged 120......and this year I see no reason why he can't get close to that again. Also, his last season was injury effected so his price is lower then it should be.

mcwarne, he may not be a good DT player but Goodes is one of the A class players in SC.

m8 i'd say goodes is a better pick thean mitchel in supercoach for sure- due to contested possies the man gets n he wins his own ball. Mitchel seems to be a bit of a link up player but does rack up the disposals.. So i think Goodes!! but he's a bit oldish now maybe so ur choice im a little on the younger premiums from the start.. i'd go Gibbs or i am going Gibbs!!

Judd is magnificent but will get tagged every week..........still will score around 100. Selwood is an interesting one. He will rarely be tagged as he is in the same midfield as Ablett, Bartel and Corey. But having said that, Geelong is going to give Chapman a bigger midfield role this year, which means it could take possessions away from Selwood. Mitchell is a solid performer who will rarely get you 160+.

Goodes on the other hand can't be tagged 'cos of his height and is capable of dominating games and ripping out 160+.

My mids consist of Ablett, Bartell, Goodes and Gibbs (might swap for Selwood but will then have 3 from the cats).

Just dumped Mitchell and now I have 619k to spend on a premium... Have the  cash now I just have to make the right choice!

Thanks for the advice. A lot of the time I am hearing that this is going to be Gibbs breakout season, is this true?
Hasn't Goodes had really good averages the first 8 rounds the last four years?
So much to think about...

3 cats as mids??? i don't think thats a nightmare at all - corey bartel and gaz were the highest scorers last year yea?? im only starting with 2 premium mids- was gonna trade in GAzza but now starting with him - going with Gaz and Gibbs. with swallow and higgins
