How do you de-select your Captain? So only the Vice Captain is picked..

How do you de-select your Captain? So only the Vice Captain is picked..

You can't deselect your captain hawks.
You have to name a player who wont be playing captain and then name someone who is playing as emergency to replace the non playing captain ;)

EXAMPLE:

so if i want goddard captain, i need to put say tapscott (bye) as captain, and matera as emergency?

Pretty much...Yes. Assuming you want Matera as your on field player. Means you have to sacrifice an EMG.

so the smart thing to do would be to do it in the ruck department?

Or just pick who want as VC and make them captain then change them to VC

Or if you are doing a trade make him captain before you do and it will get rid of the C the just put it back on someone if your not happy with the VC

You can't change them back to VC after they have played though.

change them to vc from captain before they play, have no captain at all for the thursday game and then set a captain if you need to on friday
