This bloke is a personal favourite of mine. i didnt start with him this season BUT he has started reasonably well against four very solid teams (bulldogs, swans, saints, carlton) and he has collingwood next week. with a b/e of 110 i would love to jump on him next week as the games follwing that are GC, eagles, brisbane, richmond and melbourne before a late bye.

i am seriously considering...... are you?

Stanton or Jobe Watson could be very handy pick up with those up coming rounds! May have to look at getting one in very soon!

Ziplock

nope :) I'm going for league more than overall, which would mean I'd need to trade him out come finals...

Chopps

i did it last year oh the pain jumped on after 7 weeks of goodness and then suffered

117 first 6 games last year
82 next 6
97 last 8

having said that the bombers look much better this year, he is durable and last three seasons have been around the mark

both have looked in fine touch. jobe handles the tag better but stants can give you match winning (and losing) scores :)

Chopps

stanton certainly  can lose/win  you a game

Scotch

I'd love to grab on Watson, not a big fan of Stants though.

An particular reason scotch? Or just personal preference?

iv got him so pretty happy atm. the only thing that should make u weary is his inability to break a tag. but for the few teams that bother tagging him i think he is worthwhile because he is such a ball magnet that he can whip out those 130-140 scores with ease when he is left to run free :)

Plastic Boy

I dont rate Stanton as a player, he scores average but junks it up at the end of the games to push his scores up.

He scores even worse when he gets the tag, which is more often now as teams know they cant stop watson.

He should score ok against Collingwood as they have no taggers, but I expect the bombers to get rolled, so he might rarely see the ball.

Pretty much just personal preference.  I think he butchers the ball a bit in the actual game, and I tend to stay away from players I think are over-rated :P.  Although that doesn't translate particularly well into DT so yeah...

elephants

Okay no worries cheers mate.

guy will be out for round 24 due to bye so make sure if you get him you will have enough trades for that round.

+1. Also badly burnt me last year when he couldn't handle the tags he copped (doubt that will happen this year though with Watson tearing it up). If you're going for overall it may not be a bad idea to bring him in.

More looking at overall. Finals bye not a problem for me.
