Should i actually trade coad?

Trade to Toy
Trade Up to Premium
Trade Up to improving rookie (eg. Duigan)
Trade Sideways

TheHanger

Are we gonna go with keeping Coad for a 3-4 week period on the bench or should he be traded out? Im thinking a downgrade (well $15000) to Toy,maybe someone else? i got 50k in the bank and 3 trades down

Chopps

how much cover you got?

TheHanger

well at the moment i will have no defensive cover, i guess that answers my question but Lower will probably come back in and S Buckley might get another game. Also Ive got B Smith and A Otten

Ziplock

^ very valid question.

if you have every player playing every game, with dpp available coving your mids- backs or fwd to backs I guess you should be ok. But that's presuming that coad comes back this season. Don't players sometimes injure their hammies then are constantly about to play in a week or two, but never do?

food for thought :P

basically, keep him until you can't cover him.

elephants

with suban gone lower coming back?

Chopps

if your down on cover then that will force your hand

TheHanger

looks like this one will have to wait till friday arvo, but seeing as Freo have the bye in two rounds time Lower defienetly wont play so it looks like he is gone. I think Toy should do

Holz

toy is scoring very well 50 in a half and 75 last week, coad going down cant hurt his job security either.

elephants

My worry with toy is McKenna not wanting to burn out the young lad.

Ziplock

Same with me elephants. btw, did you get another star? if so, congrats :P  Like, that's why he was subbed the first game, and missed the second game because of it as well. The kid has so much talent + potential, and he is incredibly young, you don't want to screw him up.

TMurphBROWNLOW

hang on til the teams are out lower should get re picked to cover your bench :)

elephants

Did I zip? Thanks :)

Memphistopheles

GC Suns just tweeted that Coad has torn his hammy off the bone and will be out for 12-14 weeks - ouch.

nostradamus

Heard on DtTalk that coads hammy has been torn off the bone and requires surgery!!!!!

Can anyone confirm this??

And what would be some good trade options........am thinking toy at this stage

TheHanger

well it looks like that settles it, damn he was a good bench player
