ok are we sure that players on the bye are free after the partial lockout or are they completely locked

doesn't work browny, i just tried with duffield and i bought in toy and then toy was made my C. i think i will scrap the idea and just go C to swanny.

WILL THIS ALL WORK??
- my one fear is that matera will get my C score id i decide to keep gods 130???

nope, won't happen. This is what I used for rd 1 lockout.

Don't worry about the loophole, just put the C on Swan. You know deep down that he'll score more than any player mentioned in this thread anyway  ;)

WILL THIS ALL WORK??

Here's my take on it LE,

ok, you put your VC on Godds (or whatever Saints/Richmond player you want to take the punt on).

now, you can leave your "C" on Swanny (or whichever gun you really want your "C" on) anyway because the lock out doesn't happen til the Sat game (i think it's Port v GCS).

so after Saints v Richmond game you've got until Sat lock-out to decide if you're happy with your VC choice's score from that game.

If you're not happy with it, you just pick your "C" as usual before Sat lock-out.

If you're happy with it, you put the "C" on a bye player on the field with a corresponding covering emergency - and as an extra pre-caution i would suggest you don't make Swanny your bench emergency just in case!  ;)  (even though it is impossible for the bye player to register a score this round! but i think you'll just be jinxing Swanny and not showing him the proper respects if you 'bench' him   ;))

this should work but don't hold it against me if it doesn't - basically this is how i'm goin to try the VC loop-hole this partial lock-out round.

i am just not sold on whether or not my emergency will be my captain. say for example i field tapscott (and decide to C him because god scores well) and have matera as emergency. i am just scared my emergency (matera) will get the C.

is this the case?

don't hold me accountable ( ;)), but if Tapscott as your "C" doesn't score, the "C" effectively goes to your VC pick - that's the purpose of the VC, otherwise they wouldn't have it LE.   ;)

look, im telling you, that's what I did for the round 1 partial lockout. I placed the captain on prestia and got Gibbs score because of it.
