Thursday Night Loophole Captain

Who to put the VC on this Thursday night to take advantage of the partial lockout for Thursday night?

Roo, Joey or Goddard?
Roo could kick a bag against the poor Lions
Joey could possibly rack up some big stats

could i put the C on Darling or Goodes (who have the bye) and have a playing emg then change that to Swan if the Saint boys dont perform

Sounds good, and go Goddard he might be out of form but you dont average 130 for nothing

i've put the VC on goddard, and the captain on grimes. if goddard scores well can i still swap grimes for toy on the bench before the start of the saturday games?

if goddard doesnt perform can i still put the captaincy on swan and sub grimes out for toy anyway?

like to be sure on that too...

using same example,

VC Goddard, C Grimes - with grimes starting on field covered by B smith as emergency

means that you knowingly leave yourself with a non-playing player in defence with only 1 emergency - so if another in the backline doesn't play - ie Deledio ..then you have lost emergency coverage and will cop a donut? is that right ??

i'm assuming same - if i give Captain tag to Grimes, I can still swap to Pendles if I want...

so - only risk I see is the fact you lose emergency coverage

or am i missing the right way to play this ??

dont you just say put sylvia as capt in mids and put swan as emg and leave vc on like riewoldt?

and if you dont want roos score sub swan on field with captain? the swan as emg will cover sylvias 0.

I will make duffield captain and then I will trade him making me have no C just a VC (Goddard) if i like his score I will not name a captain but if I dislike his score (say under 110) I will set swannie the big C during the partial lockout.

i will be putting the vc on god [somehow i reckon the saints will come back hard this week ] iand the c on goodes. if i don't like god's score, i'll just move the c to swan

Well it has to be Nick Reiwoldt even if I had jack the loophole doesn't work unless you pick a Saints or Lions player as VC

ok are we sure that players on the bye are free after the partial lockout or are they completely locked
could cause some problems?

I like the put the C on the player ur gonna trade idea
