My team currently is:
Backs: Gibbs, Deledio, Goddard, Heppell, Grimes, Broughton, Otten (Duigan, Stanley, Guthrie)
Mids: Swan (C), Pendlebury (VC), Boyd, Montagna, Cotchin, Liberatore (Gaff, Atley, Hibberd)
Rucks: Cox, Sandilands (Smith, Lycett)
Fwds: Franklin, Riewoldt, Goodes, Knights, Darling, Krakouer, Tapscott (Richardson, Matera, Mckernan)

That is my team not considering the byes but i have enough players on the bench to cover that. Last week I got 2056 and the 2 players letting me down are clearly krakouer and Broughton. I have already used 4 trades and I'm planning on easing up on trades but if I don't do what I'm planning this week it might never happen because of price changes.

I am planning on downgrading Broughton to Brodie Smith and keeping duigan as a starter in my backs. That would leave me with $158000 which I could then use to upgrade Krakouer with $351600 to either Dawes or Fyfe. I'm happy getting either of these players but the only thing stopping me from getting Fyfe is because he is a second year player and could have a form slump as well as he has a bye in round 6 but then collingwood have the bye in round 7 as well so that is a factor if I get Dawes.

Who should I get?

I have a similar team. Im going Savage-Claye Beams and then Broughton-Gram. Leaving Krak, he has good JS, he will be up and down. Some 100's, some 40's. Broughton has to go.

Your best option is Gram imo, he has had the bye. Maybe Gaff-Claye Beams and Broughton-Gram???

BigDog

thats a good option but atm im not that interested in trades other than broughton and krakouer becuase they are just letting my team down

If you get Toy in you still have to start one of Duigan, Stanley, Toy.

Krak isnt letting your team down, he has been poor two weeks in a row but is doing what his price suggests. You can always start McKernan isntead.

I think Gaff is averaging less than Krak?

Blueboys

WoW used 4 trades already! I would be saving your trades for now, broughton will come good and krak should be an upgrade target if anything.

You have plenty of cover on the bench too.  ;)

Krak is bringing an inconsistency to my team and if i trade broughton to smith i will only had smith on for this week and put grimesy on every other week and leave duigan on becuase hes pulling some pretty consistent numbers

imo gaff is doing better than krak because he is being subbed but when hes on hes getting some good points i also only have gaff on when hes needed but atm i dont need him whereas krak is on my field

with scores like krak's been getting it may take a while for his price to rise sufficiently. maybe cash him in to get toy and wait till broughts plays against the doggies rnd 5, a bye rnd 6, and then the tiges rnd 7. meanwhile, hopefully you should be making cash out of toy

that might be hard to do with krak a mid/fwd and toy only a back

i wish i had an extra week to look at things and save some trades but thats not looking likely

broughton may play well this week due to suban being out they may have a new role for him and you never know with krakouer but unless fyfe or smith get injured they are going up tens of thousands of dollars next week and this is my last week to jump on before that happens so i think i will trade broughton to smith then krakouer to fyfe and bar injury not trade until atleast round 7 if i even need to trade round 7

Suban injured himself early in last weeks game, why wouldn't Broughton have assumed his 'new' role during that time. For me I am almost off the broughton train for Toy, earn money instead of lose money, whilst holding the same scores.  If I bleed too much money, I will not have the cash for my upgrades in the future.  Im sure Broughton will come good at some point, but by then he'll almost be a downgrade target or another straight swap from a rookie - rather than the double trade usually required.  So I don't think its entirely stupid trading him out.

Honestly, Broughton and Krak are both giving me the showers at the moment  >:( >:(. My back rookies are scoring heap better than Broughts and Krak has been spudding it up since round 1, where he scored as far as I could remember 98. Ever since, he has been scoring very deplorable scores. Both have been showerhouse.

Now, I have my intentions of kicking them out of my team and welcoming new and better performing players to take their spots.

Or should I just hold my trades, keep the faith and hope for the best?  :-\

Here are the options:

Broughton and Krak to....

- Adcock and keep Krak
- Brodie Smith and Fyfe
- Toy and Didak
- Toy and Pav
- Toy and Fyfe
- or hold trades, keep the faith and hope for the best  :-\

I'm going Toy and Didak myself. But the Pav option seems like a good way to go aswell, he is playing well!

elephants

yep toy and didak for me too.

I already have Toy and Smith, so there's nobody I can really bring in that's on the cusp of a price rise.  Ideally I'd love to go Broughton > Rookie then Kraks > Didak but I don't think it's possible right at this moment.  That said, I'd be bringing in Dids after his bye anyway.
