what i can see the graphics look good, it has to be decent its been what 5 years? since the last one was released on ps2.

The unfortunate truth is that while AFL PE improves in a few ways upon AFL Live 2004 if it wasn't at a semi budget price (I saw it for under $60 at my local Kmart and DVD Crave have it for just over $60) there would be absolutely no reason to even consider picking this up if you already own AFL Live 2003 or 2004. Yes, it is the best version of AFL Live that IR Gurus have released and if you have yet to grab an AFL game for your Xbox it's the obvious choice. Unfortunately it scores even lower than AFL Live 2004 because the graphics, commentary and gameplay are just tired and really need a major overhaul.


IR Gurus are hard at work on AFL Live 2005 and seem to have taken a sincere approach to listening to criticism in our User Forum which is a great sign. While we wait to see how the next game turns out, perhaps give AFL PE a rent and see what suggestions you can offer them. As they say, you've got to be cruel to be kind.
+ slight gameplay tweaks
+ the wizard cup is a welcome addition
+ loads of stats, Norm Smith medal
+ tweaked marking system and animations
- the graphics still look terrible
- gameplay issues and bugs still prevalent
- no Xbox Live support
- bad, just bad commentary

Hippo that review is for AFL Premiership Edition, which was released back in 2004!
That review is not relevant at all for this version of AFL Live

i was watching the preview of the game in eb, graphics look 1000 times better than the last one they made. Guess ill find out soon enough plus i bought it from eb so you have 7 days to take t back ;)

Hoping that you get presentations of each winners medal during the GF and the norm smith :)

Brownlow count would be good too.

Hopefully the commentators can still call out the score after it has gone past 120 rather than saying

"leading by a huge margin"

probly the biggest fail on that review there Hippo is that it is AFL Live 2005, u idiot

yep pre-ordered AFL 2011 a few months ago from EB Games, then my house got broken into a few weeks ago and my ps3 was stolen  :'( farkin barbies!!!

So if anyone has a ps3 there not using, ill buy it off ya haha
