Looks like bringing in Campbell and Shawcross were great trades as they netted me 19 points this round :D

So I was bored and decided I wanted to find out why I was coming last in this comp and so worked out how many points each team has scored in total since I know fletch doesn't keep that on file. So if this was a classic league the ladder would look like this (note these scores are with 3 point HG advantages so really would be about 40 points less):

1. ZZ's Zanny Zebra's - 1,270 points
2. Hello - 1,260
3. Didhedive Dogba - 1,236
4. The Matchbox Matadors - 1,134
5. Hawka FC - 1,092
6. Lardner's Lovable Losers - 1,066
7. Hilly's Heroics - 1,023
8. Q's Champions - 979

So even though I have scored the 4th highest points I languish in the wooden spoon position in the league :(
My only consolation I can take is I am the only one to have scored over 100 points in a round and thus have the highest round score overall of 125. The highest score each of us have gotten is:

2. ZZ's Zanny Zebra's - 94
3. Q's Champions - 77
4. Didhedive Dogba - 76
5. Hello - 72
6. Lardner's Lovable Losers - 68
7. Hilly's Heroics - 67

I then looked at standard deviation to see if that explained my lowly standing and yes it did. Consistency is what you want in H2H leagues so the smaller the SD the better. Unfortunately I have the biggest SD of all the teams in the comp. Hawka is the most consistent, which explains why he is 5th in total scoring, but last for highest score. All SD's are below:

I do actually keep that CF. I have a Draw tab, which has all the rounds scores, and it is very easy for me to do the totals.

I had RvP out for ages and then Rooney, but its paid off, then had VdV out for a month or so.
