I thought that all these soccer fans out here could give their insight on who they reckon would make the World XI based on skill, showing how much they really know about the current soccer world. Try go for one with Experienced players, and NOT necessarily ones that will last for years. Just for right now. Make a formation.
Once we get a few i will put up a poll. Also add a reserve for each position (not GK).
We can all comment and argue about who deserves what position and so on, and then we can come up with one that all FF Soccer Fans agree with :D

I will submit one myself shortly...

Good Luck ;)

I gave it a crack. I've never been too good, but here it goes:

BENCH: Lahm, Robben, Rooney.

Ibra as the best CF in the world?

CrowsFan

Ronaldo playing as a midfielder? He either plays as an attacking winger or as a striker. I don't think I have ever seen him be played that far back before.
Also if you are playing with 3 CB's why would you have Lahm on the bench since he plays RB/LB?

CrowsFan

Ok here is mine.

Bench: Chiellini, Schweinsteiger, Rooney

Barlow 21

I agree with CF's although I believe I.Casillas is a better keeper than Neuer.

Luigi197

Yea my fwd seemed the hardest to decide..
I just wanted to put Ronaldo in somewhere...
I thought with Lahm on the bench the formation could change slightly to put him in if needed, but i reckon Lahm is skilled enough to play a CB as well ;)

CF that's a very nice one, but don't rely on me to find flaws in it ;)

Master Q

I reckon Xavi and Iniesta are better than Alonso.

When it comes to DM though, Xabi is one of the best 8).

I'd switch Messi and Villa though. Not sure why but I would prefer Villa in the middle of those two.

What HP said. As a holding midfielder/DM Alonso is better, especially better than Iniesta!
I prefer Messi as the focal point, it is how Barca play after all and it works for them ;)
As for the keeper issue I think that as of this year Neuer is the number 1 keeper in the world, but that is just my opinion

I gave it a crack:

BENCH: Pique, Ozil, Rooney
