I'm trading out David Astbury and not too sure whether to go downgrade and get Brodie Smith or whether to upgrade and get Suban.

he DT history is similar to those who had a break out year in their 3rd season.  If you jump on, it could be a game winner for you ...........(Or loser).

Suban looks good but I am a Freo fan. I guess the one thing to consider is how relatively poor Duffield and Broughton have been. The question you have to ask is who is more likely to overperform or who is more likely to underperform.

or is Suban taking the role of kicking from half back line to half forward line.  He has a long accurate kick and everyone keeps talking about the long kick to break the zone.

Early in the pre-season I remember an article talking about Ibbo possibly playing an inside mid role

Wish I had him from the start. Considered getting Suban for Michael Johnson (yeah what a dud pick, I had DPP with McKernan) but went with Dawes instead. I've already got Duffield and yeah, him & Broughton are struggling while Suban shines!

i cant stand looking at the bloke.  Thats what I don't like about him.  haha

Injury prone is one thing not to like about him. But outside of that he was a good pick this year, especially as Freo players don't miss DT league games. In a way I went with Adcock instead of Suban, but I should've banked even more cash from the start by picking Suban instead of Duffield.

Will Suban average higher than Suckling by seasons' end?

I wouldnt call him injury prone. He had one injury midseason last year and made it back and finished the year off strongly...
