Don't Trade and take the donut

BGK

Hi guys.

Just a quick question. Im one player short in the mid field this week and was wondering if i should make a trade to field a full team.

I have made 2 trades already and have $78,500 in the bank. Im ranked 2821 overall and at the start of the season i wasn't interested in overall. But my solid start to the year makes me wonder if i make a trade i might still finish higher this year.

I feel i have the above 4 options.

The Curnow trade is obvious.

Gysberts is a little left field. We all know he has the ability to score well but a lot of people got burnt by him last year. Also just over the 200k mark.

If i was to bring Prestia in i would have DPP flexibility as well.

Then there is the option of not trading.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks

Bluke

Prestia and Curnow both good options.

I think a donut is a good enough reason to trade, but only if you're going for the Toyota.

Especially considering that Curnow will probably ton it up again. Thats a massive bonus to your score.

Prestia had a great game on the weekend, but I think consistency will be a big problem for the suns players this year. I'd go for Curnow, proved his worth last week against the best midfield outfit this seaosn.

I think don't trade... so I can catch you in national rankings :D

has to be curnow. the boat has left the dock but will be well and truly sailed by after this weekend.

Can't disagree that Curnow would be the best option, but you're not in the top thousand and may need that better push if you want to be serious (I've already given up on the car myself).
I've seen every Melbourne game this year, and although it was only one game so far this season, Gysberts looks the real deal! If getting Gysberts works a treat, this could be a real difference maker. But if he flops, it'll make a difference in the other direction.
So, you can play it "safe" and get Curnow (and I mean that more people have him, so if he stuffs up it won't crush you as much) or take a punt and go Gysberts.
I'm going to be looking at Gysberts next week because I already have a full team and he can't rise in price until two more games.

If your gut says do it then do it, but dont be talked into anything, early days.
Prestia did get alot of easy ball last week so not convinced on him yet.
