in top 300 overall and need to know who to get. swallow or thompson

should i take andrew swallow or scott thompson? i already have swan,murphy,bartel,harris,d.swallow,pittard conca buckley.
please help i think both will avg about same and both have a late bye. i am in 272nd position overall and trading out cornes now he is dropped for one of these 2. knowing that i wont have to trade them for a while, barring injury

andrew swallow. thompson did score 150 but he wont be consisitent.has to compete with dangerfield, rielly, douglas, vanberlo and co for midfield posessions. most of these other have been underperforming but once they start performing thompsons score will drop. swallow holds north melbourne together.

i would get jobe watson for that price though. he could win the brownlow the way he is going

Maybe MPP Gibbs (I assume you have him) with Buckley and look at your back seven then to see who's best to start???

yeh sorry is a.swallow. i was thinking some one from these 2 sides because they have already had the bye. i have plenty of cover for cornes but not sure they can score 100. i want my scores to keep going strong and thought if i use this trade i can keep these boys till late in  the season.

Thompson hands down, he is a the player i want most atm but i just cant seem to get him in just yet. And heres why.. Adelaide's fixture includes playing Gold coast twice, port adelaide twice, eagles twice, brisbane twice, and i think richmond twice.

Jump on Jobe Watson going great and will improve further with Essendon. Also he has the bye in Round Ten(last of all the clubs) so you will have plenty of time to find cover for him

watson will be a solid choice, but if he is chosen as a premo keeper he will have to be traded if you plan on winning your league grand final (essendon round 24 bye)
if this isnt too much of an issue i wouldnt say no to jobe!
but andrew swallow is consistent as they come, and can pump out 100+ with only 20 odd touches as he is a tackling machine

I'd take Watson, he is in amazing form. If not then A. Swallow over Thompson. Swallow's the main midfielder for North Melbourne in a young side and will always rack it up. Thompson has other players to contest with such as Van Berlo, Vince, Dangerfield etc.

thankyou for all your help. swallow it is and have now added hodge to shortlist to be used for upgrade target. would love to have watson but i want pendles and gablett also
