I am looking at my forward line, and I think it is lacking lacking firepower, maybe just one more gun.

O'KEEFE, Ryan
RIOLI, Cyril
TAPSCOTT, Luke
GRAY, Robbie
KRAKOUER, Andrew
DANGERFIELD, Patrick
PRESTIA, Dion
GAMBLE, Ryan
RICHARDSON, Cameron
MATERA, Brandon

I also have Petrie as a backup ruckman if I introduced a MPP.

What are peoples thoughts? stick with it for the moment or maybe add one more gun in? who would you suggest?

I have $365,500, but was hoping to use that a little later to upgrade 2 or 3 players into guns.

Andrew

Ryan Gamble is an obvious player to ditch. Dawes might be a decent upgrade who won't burn all your cash, getting Joel Tippett for your MPP link with Petrie might help too. But what are you aiming for - a league win? If so, you shouldn't be too worried with 3 weeks of byes in the DT leagues.

Mish

i recon gamble will pick up once St Kilda get their act togather and start winning some games.

So, next season? :P

I have both on my mind, I am bit off the pace on the overall places but can see if I can invest to make stronger side later, I could make a late push for it.

i think I might save my trades this week and see how I go, I do like the look of darling though, which would give me additional money if traded for gamble, a decent backup forward and the ability to upgrade him later on.

Ziplock

I don't... he only really had one decent pre-season game from memory, and his actual season has been very underwhelming...

yorgis

where's buddy, roo, pav, stevie j, goodes, etc ????? i really think u need more than 1 gun

Ziplock

yeah, you probably shouldn't have skimped on the fwd line if you have so much cash in the bank, could have upgraded a couple of those mid pricers to proven guns.

Unless you recently traded down one or two mid pricers to a rookie, and that's where the cash came from.

If you're looking for value, wait a week and turn gamble to higgins. Or, do it this week and make him into dawes.

Or as yorgis pointed out, drop in a proven performer like goodes etc.

Cicjose

dangerfield
gray

pistolpk

I think goodes would be a great addition, I was worried at the start because of spending so much time down forward.

Your right I need, 7 guns in the forward line, but to early to gain that and allot of trades required.

Buddy and Roo were strategically left out, I wanted it based on small players that all rotate through the midfield.
Thats why I chose dangerfield and Gray, a few more games and there fitness should increase, a high risk but for high reward I guess.

Stevie J would go very well with my strategy.

Holz

If i were you i would go gamble to voldt, this week and than in a couple of rounds danger/ gray to dids or chappy.

pistolpk

I like your Dids and Chappy targets :-)

I think I might leave it, see how they perform and let gamble be my first trade out next week or the week after.

Really hoping to see Matera perform, he is a very popular player on peoples benches.

TMurphBROWNLOW

i can't see you scoring over 500 with your forward line.

pistolpk

Based on averages, it is sitting at 582 per round.

Bummer they haven't performed that way:

Round 1 632
Round 2 530
Round 3 477
