Looks like the government is finally getting its shower sorted with regards to a new stadium in Perth. 9 News is reporting that it is going to be a 60k seat stadium

Big woop - its just on the other side of the Polly Famer Freeway compared to the East Perth site. I think that location is better because there is already train infrastructure there which they can develop rather than lay new track (and a bridge)

Prob not - but it means that we have a stadium where almost all the Eagles and Dockers members can get to a derby. Where as now you are lucky to get a few thousand tickets available for the other team.

The location Cic is talking about is on the west side of the river (Labelled Western Power) and the location in the article is located on the other side (labelled Belmont Park)

Now the opposition is coming out and having a go at the plans for the stadium at the Burswood location. FOR FLOWERS SAKE. The whole damn state wants a new stadium - listen to your electorates for a change
