Real disappointed in this bloke. His role seems to have changed and i'm getting itchy. I don't want any sideways trades but 56...what the hell bro

Generalsor

You got him as a keeper. Pretty sure the new role is temporary. Isnt fully fit yet and with Ibbotson returning this week or next he should improve. I've got him AND Duffield - so if i can hold off pulling the trigger so can you :)

i pulled the trigger on Duffield last week...for newman no less who stunk it up this week....wasted trade i know, but sometimes you just get the feeling that a muppet is going to underperform all year....At the end of the day, who really gives a crap anyway if you waste trades....You arent going to win overall so you may as well finish 300,000th

Hayden and Ibbotsen to come back, his score will climb second half of the season, not averaging low enough to not keep around till then.

that's the problem with sideways trades stuart.

Arch, i'd keep the faith a bit longer though i would monitor his role in the next few rounds. It looks to me like Suban has taken Broughton's role from last year.

i read another post that Ibbotson is due to come back in and the person posting (valk??) speculated that that could release Broughton for the run and carry out of defence role that made him so valuable DT/SC wise last season ...

i think if Ibbotson comes back and Broughts and Suban stay in the same role over the next 2-3 rounds, then you probably want to off-load Broughton ...  just my two cents, take with a pinch of salt ...   :)

i`m going to see how he goes this week against the roos before i make a final decision.

That is only if Ibbo goes in to the backline, if Ibbo goes in to the middle then I dont see any changes to Broughts role.  There was some rumblings at the beginning of the pre-season that Ibbo was being looked at becoming an inside midfielder.

Do it.

You know you wanna. Anything we say will mean nothing.

Have patience, but It's a rare commodity on here. Or so it seems...

Thanks guys. I am going to reassess the situation come Round 6 @ Freo's bye. Hopefully by then he shows signs of a less defensive role or at least suggest that greater scores are to come  :'(

Andrew

I'd consider Suckling for him. See my thread on a similar trade with Duffield here: http://www.fanfooty.com.au/forum/index.php/topic,32059.0.html

the injury update says silvagni and ibbotson are both tests so may be back this week...  if silvagni comes back u would think that would release broughton or duffield and i guess if ibbo is named in the back field there's a chance they could both be released.. if both aren't named ill probly trade him out this week.. got a lot in the kitty so i can get ne1 for him and he just isn't getting near the footy..

Rumour is that Silvagni has lost a bit of weight from the illness so may need some time in the WAFL first.
