Just an idea i was thinking of going Broughton to Toy(-52) then upgrading Krak to a premium !!

that was my plan but it only gives you 370k or so on a player and for me thats not enough for a premium.

Actually leaves you with 384k which is enough to get...

Didak (get him whilst he's cheap, on the way up now) probably want him after his first bye though :( I am tempted to jump on now though

or Rockliff - averaging 106 this year and his a star of the Lions' team, still cheap now for what he can put out thanks to the bye.

thinking of trading him out for adcock but if i downgrade to toy i will have a heap of rookies in the backline. (duigan, heppell, coad, lower) and otten. if i brought in toy there'd be 5 rookies plus otten.

I'm thinking of bringing in Toy for Suban, as he seems to be a decent scorer, 50 in a half of footy and 75 on the weekend.


Backline rookies seem to be getting it done this year so dont worry too much about having too many.

Pocket the cash and wait for a premo to tank, then get them in for one of your money making cows.

I'm not sure if he is precisely on his way up.  Had another poor game on the weekend where 13 of his possessions came in the fourth quarter.  Sure he got the score in the end, but it doesn't point to any sort of sustainable form atm.  He should continue dropping for a few weeks.

Then again, suban was injured early and that didnt stop him scoring weakly. Im consideirng dropping the kid - even though my man-crush on him is large.  A BE of 129..  I was thinking about it last week and it cost me an extra 30k.  the fact that he is bleeding money like a rookie is earning money, is a waste. 

Its as if Swallow and Broughts are cancelling each other out, but with the addition of middle tier low scores.

If you dont like broughton, why touch the other defenders there.  Broughts was the highest scoring defender, behind (center/back) Mcphee (68) and (Back/Fwd) McPharlin (61)..

Which aren't high scores anyway.  For people saying "what about duffman"..  Duffman scored less than Broughts yesterday..  you think bringing him in will mean better things?

because there seems to be a shortage of quality back premiums and enright and lake are still dropping in price i think people are better of dropping broughton for toy and then upgrading backs later on when people can clearly see who the decent backmen are after more than a couple of games. For instance by about round 10 we will know if adcock and suckling are the real deal or not. Personally i think i will drop broughton to toy but i am still considering keeping him.

+1. I've got Duffield (very similar boat) and I don't know about his role but he's spudding it up, whereas I could have cash in the bank and a rookie scoring me the same. These people who say: "You can't have too much in the bank at any one time, it'll hurt your scoring potential" are assuming that every premium you pick is going to play like one. In the meantime, you could have the cash sitting there waiting for the right premium. I've got $272k in the bank after making 3 trades and I'm still downgrading Duffield, upgrading Krakouer as many are. I scored 2044 on the weekend.
