Ok, iv got 22 trades left for the year and got some spare ca$h and thinking of trading up toy to suban, if toy is not named this week again, this trade looks even more inviting.

???????

I got him in for Everitt last week...I also lost a league game by 4 points (go figure). But Suban will be better in the long run than Everitt im thinking...it almost looks asthough hes taken Broughton's role watching the game last weekend. I like very much. But I do expect Toy to play this week with Cambell Brown out...tough choice, 22 trades left you might want to think very carefully.

Broughton is low on fitness from the injury which kept him out most of the preseason. Don't consider him until the halfway point of the season. Suban has indeed taken his role, which was the running defender earmarked for Mzungu before he was injured himself.

Suban is also rebounding from injury. Just better than Broughton is. I've been suggesting Suban as a possibility for people since round 1. As he keeps stringing games together he just gets better, and now he's getting noticed by more fantasy coaches. You make a good point about him maybe not maintaining the same role by halfway through the season when some key inclusion come back into the side, but trading him in at that point will mean he's no longer a bargain.

May still be worth it - but he's putting up the big numbers right now. Something to think about.

i think broughton will come very good in the next couple of weeks.

While everyone is jumping off Broughton im waiting to jump on he will come good no doubt about it.

I've had him since round one but was concerned he would be the weak link in my backline. As it happens, he is one of he most consistent! It is interesting that Broughton is playing far of a deep back role at the moment... perhaps this is just due to his current fitness levels from what the coaches have seen at training. If that is the case, we might expect him to resume his usual role in time.

The Dockers defense is looking very different this year, partially through necessity obviously but also I think there has been a fair tactical shift. It was evident on the weekend with how Hill was uses.

Hmmmm I think this saga has a few more acts to okay out before any Freo defenders get settled in a role.
