I have 3 seriously under-performing back-line players in Goddard, Connors and Broughton.

I'm looking at probably keeping 2 and trading one of them, and can afford anyone, however I don't know which two to keep (or even 3) and who to upgrade to.

I don't have any Geelong players currently so Enright is a serious option, however with their bye coming up perhaps someone else is better.

keep goddard for sure. Out of the other two... I'd probably offload connors...

Enright is a good upgrade target after the bye.
Definitely wait and see Broughton against the Roos. Backs are notoriously good against North.
If you have to get rid of someone, get rid of Connors.
I'd have to see your whole back line to decide on an upgrade target though.

Thanks for the replies everyone.

My backline is:

Goddard, Gibbs, Broughton, Grimes, Connors, Lower, Duigan, A Otten, L Delaney, M Hibberd.

$146,500 left over.  However I've already used 2 trades which also makes me a little wary.

connors if you're desperate, leave the other blokes

If you think Connors has to go (which he probably does - can't see him smashing it against the Pies), then I think you have a couple of good choices.
If you're willing to wait a round, get Gram or Murphy after the bye.
If you're willing to wait three rounds, get Enright after the bye.
If you have to go now, you're best options would be Heath Shaw or Scott Stevens.
Stevens should have a good weekend in the Show Down.
Heater is notoriously inconsistent, but with the way the Pies are playing, only a good forward tag should slow him down.
There's my two cents :)
And obviously wait until teams on Friday!

Edit: Stevens has been a hack in the past and only looks good this year. Could be a big risk!

What about gram for Connors before his bye won't cost as much coin and neither had a bye, I have connors seriously thinking bout bench based on current form got rookies I can rely on who been playin better

C-Dogg

keep connors, he will come good i think

Scotch

Not really keen on another St Kilda player tbh.  I have Goddard and Riewoldt, and Goddard is enough of a problem as it is.

And with Broughton/Goddard, can I really rely on having 3 backs 'coming good' over the next few weeks?  At this rate though it's looking like keeping Connors until after Enrights bye...

Chopps

How much cash will Connors lose in the mean time tho

Ziplock

so long as he comes good, it doesn't matter how much cash he loses...

but the question is will he come good? one good season doesnt automatically make u a premium.

LaHug

I don't think he will come good.

Going to do the Enright swap this week I think...  Going to have to lay low on the trades for a few weeks though.
