I've got $404K to spend on a forward, and I'm not sure whether to bring in the in form Chris Dawes or the out of form superstar who has gone down in price, Jack Riewoldt. Who would you bring in?

Dawes, he will be more consistent then riewoldt imo, playing in a better team should help him

Tough call. Going by the start to Dawes' year he could have a huge one. Although I like the X factor that Riewoldt has. Considering him being my first upgrade from Knights (if Jack goes okay)

Dawes, Jroo is a very good option too...  However, you should look at the fixtures too.  I expect some big scores from JRoo, in next few weeks.

For Collingwood

Richmond, Essendon, Western Bulldogs (lakes only just returned), Bye, Geelong

For Richmond

Collingwood, Hawks (stratten injured,), NM (grima only just came back), Brisbane Lions (MacGuire, Drummond, Staker out), Freo

dawes alot more consistant
he will kick a bag full shortly maybe this week against tigers

No contest here. Dawes wouldn't get a kick on a decent full back. I wouldn't be impressed with beating an 18 year old.

Wait another week and Get J Roo when he is CHEAP.

The question is, what do you think Dawes will average at the end of the year, given Collingwoods draw & opposition?

Personally, I think 90-100.

J Roo will still have a higher average from now on. Less consistent though.

If you want consistent, then look no futher than J. Hill. The form he has displayed so far has been flawless. I don't see him dropping off. Finally showing what he is capable of due to his role change. He will match it with these 2 in SC this year.

J. Hill?

So what do you think

Dawes, JRoo, and J. Hill will average for the year?

Dawes, good kick and will get a lot of service because hes in a good team! j roo is a good player though but dawes will be more consitant IMO

90 to Dawes.
91 to Hill and Riewoldt haha

Slashers

I couldn't handle that spoilt little brat Jack in my team NO matter what he scored.

I'd say Damien Hardwick feels the same occasionally especially after episodes like his on the weekend

LOL you expect only a 1 point difference in average, you make it sound like choosing between the two is so much more clear cut.

Not sure about Hill averaging 91 ^^.  I think your being seduced too much.

edit: btw, that concussion JRoo had counts as a zero, towards J. Roos accumulative overall average.

Exactly. He's a good 5 points better than Dawes. I factored his 0 in.

Have you seen Hill play this year? I have been well and truly seduced, but for good reason.
