dan connors is killing me just lost 50k and has a BE of 138 need to do something with him, i have rookies playing better then him

now before i cop "why did you go with him" i took 4 risk's so to speak and most were well calculated and researched, this one i admit probably could of done with a bit more.

any who what do i do with him? i am feeling a hargrave drop in price which i am not keen on would rather sideways now then to have to double trade later

gram or adcock are the most appealing right now, i wouldnt even mind sitting him on the pine this week ( as crazy as that sounds.), i am going for overall points and but league is important

as a richmond fan who has gone to all 3 games, connors is clearly underdone coming into the year, his run off the back flanks hasn't really been seen much yet. so, his average will defs rise, but he seems to be given more defensive responsibility this year, being forced to act as an actual defender this season as opposed to last yr where he was almost purely used as a rebounder because of his great kicking skills. i think its mainly him not having a great pre-season, and his average will improve soon.

I wouldn't include Conners in a proven premium category.  Sure his price tag said other wise, but realistically, he doens't have the track record of Goddard/Enright/Gibbs/Delidio/ I'm even gonna go out on a limb and include players like Grimes/Broughton.

Conners had one good season last year (14 games), his other 13 games have come across 4 seasons with an average of 51.05.

I believe in the kid, he has a Goddard-eqsue build and demeanour, hopefully one day he can reward me with good DT scores.. but right now I'm gonna watch him fall in price.

i thought he was worth the risk probably should of only takin him if he was more like 330 not 380 dont think i put enough thought into it any ideas slap what i should do, gotta keep him yea?

I would predict another price plummet against the Pies this week.
If you're going to keep him all season, don't burn a trade.
If you don't see him in your team come round 24, you have to get rid of him NOW.

I'd try to trade him out soon for a fallen premium if he lives up to the previous line.

if you want to play it safe than connors to adcock looks like a great move, adcock will go up massively in price if he scores well in round 5. If connors does start to peform than you can probably pick him up for at least 50k more than he is now.

Adcock may well turn into a keeper, so connors to adcock and than later lower to conors if he peforms is essentially 2 trades to gain 1 keeper and thats what your looking at doing.

The only way it can backfire is if adcock starts playing badly and connors starts getting 80+.

Was planning on trading to Adcock next week.... But would be without any emergencies down back if I got Adcock this week :S.
