Gold Coast took the strategy of getting experience from AFL clubs then with their pre-listing they got players of whom they could trade for future picks to other teams. The likes of John Cegler(COLL), Tendai Mzungu(FRE), Cam Richardson(NM), Rohan Bewick(BRIS), Simon Phillips(PORT) and Peter Faulks(FRE). I believe that with Sheedy's strategy of trying to get young players from other AFL clubs, they should target for their prelists players that have been delisted over the past few years around the ages of 24-26 and then pick them up for some experience. Some of these examples are Sam Power, Beau Dowler,  Andrew Lovett(??), Luke Blackwell, Andrew Lee and Shane Valenti are some of the names who performed at these clubs especially Sam Power yet were delisted they are also doing pretty well in their current leagues

Certainly what I think as well! Even though they aren't big names, they have the experience to help the younger guys for the first season when they start off raw.

I like Dowler and Valenti. Not sure if any of those guys will get another chance but who knows.

Yeah Valenti is a great player was joint winner of the JJ Liston Trophy last year with Stephen Clifton

Pretty sure they got some Stingray boys last year to join them this season (3). Treloar was among them I'm sure and another guy was quite a good player as well!

I was in school with Treloar a few years back, he wasn't that tall ???. Must have grown alot to be able to play KPP :o. I think he plays the flank doesn't he ;).
