You can be pitted up against any player at any time but that takes the fairness out of it. Chances are most likely that you will be playing someone from the same group as you are from or one above yours as it creates a more fun and enjoyable tournament for everyone involved.

I was in Group 1 and got put against a Group 6 team in Rnd 3 but Won! :)

I'm playing a team called "The Redbacks" who rate about 100-110k. Should win.
