How come? It's basically your 23rd player on the field..?

Counting one of your best players twice will weight the average towards the higher end of the distibution.

True, but as many will find this round, your c isnt necessarily your highest scoring player. I reckon if you've got a captain, and therefore 23 players on the field then you should include his second score. Each to their own though
