Hey Guys

I have a few problems with my team, I have Beau Waters who obviously needs to be traded soon, I have Michael Hibberd and I have Patrick Veszpremi. I can cover for Beau Waters this week so i was wondering if i should trade M Hibberd out for Ed Curnow before his price goes up. Should i get him before his price goes up or should i just trade Beau Waters out?

does this wreck your MPP flexibility??

are you planning on trading Hibberd back in?? or is this the make or break??

if you can upgrade Waters into a prem defender, that might be the way to go for your scoring ... think the inj was at least 3mths?? (sorry i can't remember the news reports i saw)

Yes it does stuff it up, but i dont really mind about it. Yes i probably will get Hibberd back in if he starts playing as he could be a good little downgrade option. What do you think about that? yes B Waters injury was 3 months.

i just think you can wait on Hibberd and don't worry about missing the Curnow boat - i'm assuming most of your other rookies are going to increase in value for you, so you should be fine.

whereas, you're goin to have to trade out Waters anyway - so if you can afford the prem upgrade now, you may as well get those points starting now ...

i traded in Libba Jnr over Curnow just to let you know ...

Ok thanks alot on your opinion mate. I just have one more question for you. Who should i get for Waters? Bryce Gibbs or Brett Deledio? or anyone else you have in mind.

just going thru posts from last week  ... Curnow looked good against the Pies, but i'm still happy with Libba Jnr over him.

the thing is now to monitor whether Curnow is this years Barlow ... good against the Pies, so that is test no1 ... Carlton play Ess then Ade and that will be 5 games ... if he is avg'ing around 100 i will check his BE score and may trade him in ...

He will be 320+ by that stage j959... and by that stage the sun will most certainly have set.

fair points - i s'pose i'm not too fussed if i've missed out on Curnow cos there will be other options available (always are, that's what i learnt last year) but if he can do a Barlow and keep going from $320k+ up into the $400k-$500k, i'm thinking that is why i'm ok getting him in after Carlton plays Essendon at least and maybe even Adel (though that is at Etihad) ...   ???
