Yeah Freo actually has to make a GF before they can talk about Norm Smith medalists.

And i think they have missed the boat, because Coll should win the next flag or two and then teams like Haw, Melb and Rich will be up there before the GC and GWS' players have developed and they have unstoppable sides.

I'm thinking that in 20 years time Freo will still be the only team who hasn't won a flag.

AS for Embley - he's a legend, but i wouldn't pick him for DT - maybe in 05/06, but not now.

I think Freo will be a top 8 side this year, and potentially top 6 again. Next year top 6 definitely. Dont know if they will win a flag though due to the age of their two guns Pav and Sandilands. Hopefully they can hang on long enought to see Freo into a grand final.

Unlike most West Coast supporters I'd still like to see Freo do well, its good for WA footy. Their best chance in a long time will be over the next 3 years.

ps. We desperately need Perth to become WC's WAFL affiliate and Peel the same for freo. Only way forward imo
