Hey guys what do you think about trading Conca to Curnow and J. Kennedy to Embley.

Aim is to get Curnow in for his value increase and to get rid of J. Kennedy who looked real good during the pre season.

After doing the Curnow trade Ive got $478,800 to spend on a decent midfielder.

What are your thoughts?

I like it but the real value comes in how quickly you trade Curnow into a gun Midfielder?

Conca might be rotated through the midfield at some stage and offer the same value as Curnow but you used a trade to get value earlier.

I think Conca will play more games than Curnow this year.

I see what you mean.

My other low mids that I have and can trade are D.Harris, D.Swallow and A.Gaff

I just thought that out of all of them, Conca would be the best to trade off for Curnow.

What you think?

Do not trade J Kennedy for Embley. Massive waste of a trade.

Embley is up and about at the moment but West Coast have also had 2 wins. It won't last.

Stick it out with Kennedy and if he turns out to be a complete flop then trade for a quality midfielder who will give you good scores week in, week out.

Remember that Embley is inconsistent...Why? Outside midfielder, he floats and gets the easy footy so when the Weagles begin to lose, his scores will plummet.
Avoid the man!

Hrmmm

Which mid would you recommend for $478,800 or under?

You could always Keep a Little Faith in JPK? You picked him for a reason ;)

Conca --> Curnow is fine though. Personally against Curnow but he will rise a bit this week with a BE of -158.

Pendlebury, altho i have Marc Murphy because i didn't want 2 pies come bye time. Im content with my choice so far

Edit: forgot im in the SC forums, not DT  :P Maybe take a gamble on Jude or Ryan Griffen

I picked JPK on his nab cup form....but he doesnt seem to be carrying that form in the games so far.

Pendlebury and Murphy are way over 478k

Sorry saw the edited post

what do you think about O'Keefe?

Least you could do would be give him a decent go... Mundy has been a great pick for me so far, could really take the next step this year.
Anthony would save some cash, although he has the bye this week. Burgoyne? Boomer or even Griffin if you are willing to take risks.

There are lots of options if you look harder.

ROK could be OK, but beware he will be down to 80s soon enough...He is a form player.

roo boys!

Boomer is 488k.

Burgoyne is 484k.

I would go with Griffen or ROK.

Oh, sorry about that. Was just suggesting players in the range *facepalm*

That's alright, I just happened to have the list of midfielders up there as I typed so just thought I would fix it ;)

Quick question, and I don't mean to hi-jack the thread, but I've completely backflipped on Atley today, decided to keep Irons over him, as I already have a number of North players, and Irons is going to go up more in the short term. Good mover or...? :-\
