Do nothing or Do Something? Foley & Other Options

Hey All,

Just checking what you guys think I should do.

1. Do nothing, keep Foley, he might get better as his match fitness picks up, miss out on the Libba train, but he might lose his spot in coming weeks - although he his price will soar.

2. Trade Foley - Libba - means I get Libba who is pumping out bigger scores so far, make some cash on the trade as well as when his price goes up and miss out on the possible price drop of Foley.

3. Trade Foley - Libba & Irons - Heppell - This has the advantages of option 2, but also means I regain the Def/Mid link with Hibberd, who of course hasn't had a game yet.

I haven't used any trades yet and have been averaging just over 2100, but doing these two trades I think would have my team setup for the next several weeks until I start downgrading and upgrading (Without any LTI's of course, touch wood)

I am leaning towards option 3, but advice would be great.

more like inevitable price drop of Foley.  Drop him, he isn't a mid premium, make some money and improve your score.  Everyone wins (except your trade balance).

No one voting on option 3?  Is that because you don't think its worth a trade? Don't think Heppell is a good option?

if it were me i would go foley to heppel, better JS than the toehr guys, MPP link and i think will score around the same from now on.

Hmmm, never thought of that one Holz, probably is a good option, if only I could add that to the poll now!

i think curnow and libba are being hyped up instead of guys like heppel, becuase every person i know had heppel in their team. I have heppel already but if i dindt i would get him in scored well agasint 2 good teams. I think will outscore curnow and has a chance of scoring more than libba.

I think Foley has a lot more to offer in terms of DT. If I had him I would most definitely keep him.

But that's easy for me to say....

Also, Libba has played 2 respectable games and how long will he "Pump out big scores?"

Nobody knows. I'd keep him. But if your not that serious. Trade away.  ::)

im going foley to ward if it helps. I was choosing between the 2 all preseason and picked the wrong one. Foley and richmond dont look as good as i expected. Ward is gunning it and should pump out 90_ against GC and will probably be 50k more than foley by this round, folye has a BE of 90 which he could get but ward has a negative BE and infact the sdame as rookie atley.

i did have high expectations of richmond, they are doing ok though, foley just doesnt look fit. Im not sure if its just the gastro but to me he isnt as up and about as i thought he would be.

I look at the Tigers Midfield and it SCREAMS class.

Martin, Cotchin, Grigg, Jackson & throw Deledio in there when he plays there.  >:(

yeah my top 8 is very different to others i had gelllong as number 2 and stkilda not making the 4, so the draw against stkilda doesnt suprise me, in fact i nearly tipped Richmond.

yeah the mids look great thats whta i was planning on they have a great young midifeld and the coleman medalist in there team. They have a little bit of blues circa 3 years ago, the only problem is they dont have the best player in the league in their team (Judd)
