Is Foley to Curnow a fair trade? No doubt Foley will start to improve (80+ last week was a fair score). However, Curnow is 240k cheaper and an increase in the bank of 240k for the same scoring ability could definitely be worthwhile. 24 trades in a season is a lot, and this trade will allow for TWO rookie upgrades in a few weeks.

Note: Already have Libba, and I'll be trading Prestia to Tapscott.

I just looked through 8 pages of threads and I only saw one mention of Foley for the week, and that didn't address my question. If you think it's been asked 1000 times, please feel free to refer me to those threads and I'll gladly delete this thread after reading the prior discussion on the issue.

i think he means ____=>curnow.
I would do it but do u have any figures to show such as how much money u would gain etc.?
that would help me make a more informed decision and therefore be better served to help you.

I don't see it as a must-trade, considering you already had Liba.  Saw some upward improvement in game 2.

With Tapscott, just be careful of the Sydney, Melbourne, West Coast bye, you might see yourself in trouble.

You took the risk, I would see it through a bit longer.

Does quite well against St Kilda, 87, 107, 96, 65, he won't hit his breakeven, but I think will improve.

If he didn't have that one game where he was used as a sub, I think his average atm would be much better.

The only reason I would downgrade, is if that money was going elsewhere for an upgrade.
otherwise save the trade, it will come useful

1001 times now, and it's a great trade if you don't have enough rookies to make lots of $$

Good trade, this is a trade for the future so bank on using 2 trades.

Go to curnow, wait 2-3 weeks or maybe longer, pick up Judd and probably still have money in the bank for another upgrade.

The goal is have have 22 guns on your side but have enough trades in the bank if anything goes wrong or byes.
Can only occassional make a big move like this.

aren't these rounds supercoach byes? Why is getting Tapscott gunna get you in trouble?

The triple round byes count for ladder ranking, but not for league wins.

Just say you have

Goodes, Sylvia, etc, as Premium.  If your bench  is tapscott, darling  you might see yourself facing a donut..

thats just 1 example.

Hydra

I would have Darling, Goodes and Tapscott. That would leave me needing every other player in DEF to play. My current backups are Matera, Petrie, Richardson. Chances seem pretty good they'll all play IMO.

Thanks everyone for the advice :).

Hydra

Ok. I made both trades. Decided you can't win the 50k without taking a risk or two :)

starting to think re Ward > Curnow or Libba.. espeically now Curnow is not the sub..
