Seems to be just an ignorant vic journalist ::) I hate freo with avengance but Pav is an absolute gun. If he played for a vic team there would never be an article like that.

Perish the thought  ::) I would've loved him to come home  :'(

Journo's are under tight deadlines and are always under the heavy expectation to deliver the provocative and the spectacular - often without any base to their story they will over inflate a personal opinion on something, just so they can fool their Editor and the broader public into believing they must be right, it's in the paper after all.  :P

Well a lot of negativity there. Most likely why you may see it as bad journalism. Having said that his choice of words can and would be better. +1 I agree on the journalism side of things. I understand where you are coming from, it is like he is a nobody with a mouthful of opinions.

Just to contextualize this debate a little bit. Fox Sports (the Melbourne) media, placed Liam Jurrah in the top 40 players in the AFL.

They missed Cox, Stanton, Mitchell and a number of other walk up players.

No port or adelaide player made the top 40 including K.Cornes.

How the flower can a bloke who has played 19 games be in the top 40 players.

And Riewoldt was ranked higher than Brown and Pavlich. Brown is easily the best of the three imo. With Pavlich a close second. (Although this point is really subjective)

Ha ha I took the liberty of emailing The Age telling them that the author has zero talent and is definitely not up to the typical standard of The Age. There was no author on the page that I could see though or is it right in front of me? lol
