I cant believe this shower gets published.  I am left gob-smacked and thought I would share this dribble for the budding journalist so they can see WHAT NOT TO WRITE

The reason that this comes about is cause this journo expects fremantle to kick the ball to Pavlich all the time to get goals.

Simon White expects Pavlich to do go into the guts when we are struggling and as a result thinks he is fatigued later in matches.

Pavlich makes his own choices on what role he plays at what time.

Everyone entitled to their opinion I guess, but I think Pav is right up there with Brown and Riewoldt.

Having not seen all that many Freo games, but Pavlich always seems to be the barometer of the Dockers. Sandilands is a giant, but Pav is the match-winner IMO.

Would the Lions have lost those 3 grand finals if they had Pavlich instead of Brown? I doubt it.

Would the Saints have been less dominant with Pavlich instead of Riewoldt? I doubt it. Who knows? Maybe Pavlich could've gotten them 2 flags.


Pavlich reminds me a bit of Nathan Buckley and Robert Harvey to be honest. In the sense that they are true champions of the game who were starved of success, and this is unfairly used against them.

Back to the article...WTF is this? PAV IS a gun. You could argue that Roo had average games in both losing grand finals. You could argue every close game that Freo/StKilda/Lions lost could have been won if one of them stepped up.

In my eyes, Pav is a star, a champion, a legend. He bleeds purple. The man represents the Dockers like no other man does, and maybe ever will. If THIS doesn't make him a champion. Then there are no champions.
