Is there a way i can move a MPP (e.g. Goddard) from the back line to the Midfield IF...

My midfield doesnt have any BAC/MIDs - WHILST I AM TRADING...

I cant seem to see a way that i can swap Goddard to the 'Blank Position' and then select a replacement Back.

You cant do that.  You can only swap a player for a player who both have MPP

Knickers!

I think you should be able to do it...  If you are in the midst of a trade you should be able to swap positions of player into the 'blank' position.

Oh well...

You don't have a 'blank' position.

That player doesn't leave until you trade him out, therefore not blank. A player never leaves until there's a player taking his spot.

Agreed and Understood...  The Game/Web developers dont let you do it, I am simply suggesting that it should be enhanced to be a possbility.

When you enter the 'trade zone' you cannot leave until you have a full team.  You can 'de-list up to two players' move MPP players on your list then add two players.

Although it is not in the Game now and not Technically possible, I think it would be a reasonable thing to do.

No big deal.

(I also believe you should get the Emergency score if you have a player on the field that has worn a Green/Red Vest and the Emergencies score is higher, this would minimise the impact of this rediculus rule in the DT competition)

That'd sorta be like delisting players mid-season, just not something you can do in AFL...

And I disagree on the sub rule (emg scoring for sub)

That's like an AFL coach going to a game with 28 players and being like... well Krakouer had a bad game today, let's play this game again with Toovey and do you mind if we also take out Beams and start again with Buckley thanks.

Your 22 is your 22, if one gets subbed, bad luck.

I agree

Understand what you guys are saying but there are couple of flaws in your arguement that DT mimicks a REAL game...

- De-listing players mid season - that is what is done in DT.

- We are not REAL coaches so we cannot pick who goes on, real coaches do.  If one of my Emergencies WAS on the bench i would swap them on if i had a injury or example.  I am trying to take the luck of the vests out of the equation a little.

- It doesnt matter where Goddard is named in Real game he can go anywhere on the field.  So the privlidge of moving him to he middle if i bring a defender into my team between matches should be reasonable.

They pick 22, once the game starts they can't magically put an emg into the game.
Your 22 is the same, if one of a real coach's 22 goes down, he can't put an emg in, just the sub. (22nd player)

Your team has 22 players and is the same.
