libbas saw i read within the next 2-3 weeks they are going to sub him why not against the gold coast? and with curnow playing in such a high midfield one bad game he will be dropped? thoughts :)?

against the gold coast, I wouldn't sub him. Great time to get practice in, not a huge amount of pressure and it should boost his confidence. I would start a sub as someone who may be a bit sore, or slight injury concerns, and would be looking to sub off someone like boyd if the dogs are thrashing it.

Plastic Boy

Markovic will be sub and come on for lake who sent him to the bench. very obvious imo.

That seems like a very pragmatic choice, we'll see what happens though. Everyone expected Kerr to Sub

gilbee and lake will hopefully sub each other. both have'nt played for yonks, and had bullies been playing any other team they might have even had another week off. perfect opportunity for them to get some good game time

handy for mid seaosn upgrades. i was sold on libba all week but now i think curnow.... nah libba.

slightly drifted away from the original thread back to the Libba v Curnow debate (which nobody knows the answer to yet), I've got Foley and am now leaning towards keeping him. Picked him on the basis he could avg >70 and will play 22 games, you can't really consider his first score as relevant and Adock backed up a 50-odd with a big 100 why not Foley, he's proven he can do it in the past.
btw - I think I'm going Libba, I agree the sub rule will be used with defenders this week a the bullies
