Who should I have as my captain this week?

Boyd - against the Suns, but will they sub off when game is won?

Sandilands - against the Crows, should dominate.

Pendlebury - will he amass the big score against the Blues?

Murphy - will he amass the big score against the Pies?

Franklin - surely he'll kick a bag against the Tigers.

All worthy of the role, I'm leaning towards Franklin.

I got the same problem but with Swan in there to.....I am leaning towards Boyd then Franklin then Swan for me but Sandi as the 3rd for you so....
1st-Boyd
2nd-Franklin
3rd-Sanderlands
4th-Pendlebury
5th-Murphy

Thats what i reakon.....

take a punt and go buddy against the tigers

buddy may not play at f/f as it seems roughie might have finally hit his straps,. if buddy goes roaming up the ground he will pick up more possies but kick less goals. sandi will prolly have 3 ruckmen to compete against, maric, tippet, mckernan. swan and pendles against murphy, judd who knows ?  boyd dunno, if the games over quckly eade may give some of his young blokes a longer spell in mid ie. libba ,ward etc . maybe this, maybe that who knows. i'm sticking with the swan

MrRiosWan

Maybe Boyd. I dont think he'll get subbed off for two reasons. (1) He's the captain of the side, and a new captain at that (2) at this stage of the year sides are probably more worried about building match fitness than managing fatigue. He might get rested towards the end of the season but I doubt he'll get subbed off in round 3 unless injured. Buddy is also tempting because the tiger's backline is sub-par and hurt by suspended players. Who knows.

Head Coach

Why dont you have Swan??? Surely he is the first player you'd pick in your side...

Ziplock

if swan is the first player picked, then how come despite his two stellar performances he's still only in 50% of teams? :P

Boyd or Pendlebury, both have good records against their opposition and at the grounds they are playing at.

I'd go Boyd, after a poor first round, I'm sure he'll be relentless against the young Suns.

Richmond's stock of tall defenders has been ravaged by injury so i’m seriously considering Franklin as captain this week (ahead of Swan and then Boyd).
They have no-one who can really match up on Franklin and if I was the Hawthorn coach i’d get Buddy and Roughie in the forward 50 and instruct the rest of the team to try and get it to them in a one-on-one situation.
There’s no point playing Franklin up the field when he has the potential to be so damaging in attack this week.
Gonna be a tough choice, most likely made at the last minute.

Bluke

Boyd hands down, no questions asked.

i can be your captain if you like? hahaha

very tempted to go boyd over swan this week. but you can't fault swans consistantly massive scores.

I thought about it, but realised what I was thinking!  You wouldnt drop a captain if he scored 162 last week..  He has done what he needed to do for capt, and until he burns me I will not look elsewhere.

I'll prob even name him capt during his byes, he'd prob figure out a way to pump out 100+
