JPK to Libba?

Got slammed by most for my plan to trade Buddy down to Dawes to cash up, then upgrade JPK (one of my big disappointments) to Pendles. But how about JPK to Libba? Only one trade to make some serious bank and avoid a JPK price drop as well, then get a price rise outta Libba which I can use to upgrade him to Pendles later.

I would keep Buddy, he is liable to score 170 2-3 times this year, could be Richmond this week with 2 of the Tiges defensive starters out suspended, and he could still average around 100 overall.

I'm like U I got seduced by JPK's pre-season form, should have went for another rook who would be cashing up soon with the same scores his pumping out.

Maybe JPK to Libba, Yarran to Dawes is an option. But worried after last week that Yarran can make some cash too.

mate, i'd just stick to JPK to libba to make some cash and sit on your team for a while.. Its only early mate, players turn around and perform.  And performing players die down aswell.. Wait for a couple more rounds, see which player are legit and then jump on.

I'm looking at a Petterd -> Libba and Petrie -> Dawes.  However I'm not sure I really want 2 Pie mids and 2 Pie forwards...  I could also afford almost any forward (under 400k).

I know Curnow isnt the subject of this thread but i am having to do the same JPK downgrade trade this week and im still wondering who to choose out of Curnow and Libba.

Noone seems to be able to split the two in terms of JS and upside so at the moment it may come down to me not having any Carlton mids as the deciding factor to go with Curnow...

Does anyone have something a little more concrete or are we all just backing ourselves in?

Nobody has anything concrete.. Perhaps wait til teams are out today and see where they are placed on them.  Eg. If Curnow is placed on the field and Libba  a Interchange - go Curnow.
If Libba is named on the ball again, and Curnow on the bench, go libba.

Sounds like a plan - pretty thin but its all we've got to go on. May even wait till the subs are named for friday night to make sure... Such a love/hate relationship with this game

you can't research late changes but, like last week foley went from on the ball to on the bench in the final teams.

but we can be certain that only the named interchange can be called a sub not a player that is named on field?

i read somewhere about the subs and players from the field that were made subs, but where stumps me atm.

I already asked this question in previous post - and the bad news answer is anyone can be the sub with sub having to be finally named only about 1 hr before game.  So for Frid night game you get a chance to see, but anyone named for sat/sun teams can end up wearing the sub gurnsey - even if they are named on the field to start as teams are listed.

it was on here. Someone in (carlton?) rd 1 was named on the field, but started as the sub.
