First Year Newb needs help with trades! Scoring 2.3k+ tho

Been reading this forum religiously the past few weeks - trying to learn the in's and out's of SC and DT. I'm scoring decent though..

R1: 2188
R2: 2321

I really want to be getting 2300+ each week. I know I should try save trades but seeing as though prices go up this week and rounds 4,5,6 are byes I'm looking to make the most out of the Rookies rising in price which will enable me to hopefully upgrade a few players and be ready to destroy those in my league come round 7.

Below is my current team and I have $184,600 left in the bank

I'm looking at getting Libba, Tapscott, Curnow and I'm happy to burn 2 trades this week.

I'm thinking of trading:
Hibberd OR Conca for Libba
Hibberd OR Conca for Curnow

OR

Hibberd OR Conca for Libba
Someone in my FWD for Tapscott


Any ideas? Please feel free to tell me I'm a complete tool/newb for wanting to trade this early on as any feedback/help is greatly appreciated - or throw up some other ideas (I've been contemplating swapping out Selwood / Hibberd for Curnow/Libba with the intention of getting Selwood or another Premium Midfielder back in my squad come round 7 (leaving me with the profits of the rookie I get in for Selwood, I won't need Selwood in my team to get league wins for R3).
