Last year when Brown went down with injury, EVERYONE said you have to get a premium in his place...

I was making two trades that week...

Brown > gun (only because everyone said it's what you must do)
and I think it was exhausted cash cow > Rookie.

It was just before Rockliff and J Pods started to rise in price...

I only got Rockliff and missed out on J Pods... Traded J Pods in only to get his last 1 or 2 tons and Traded rocky out before his first ton...

What I meant to say is, go with your own gut, don't just always listen to what others say, otherwise it might be the biggest mistake you made that season like I did.

If I had have gone and traded in Rocky and J Pods like I wanted to, I would have been laughing.

@Nail - your little story mightve inspired me :)...i did start with petrie in rucks so its not like tapscott will be 5th forward...he will be like 6/7th forward and curnow will be 4/5th mid for now....till rd 6/7 when curnow evolves into a monster called montagna/gablett or selwood with 1 trade :P

after rd 1 i have absolutly no faith in him!

...he will cop tags and he will stink it up with 30-50 scores....cannot handle it tbh...who knows he wmight not even make b/e this friday lolz

i might be completly wrong and rd 1 was an anomoly....but i more of the idea that rd 2 was an anomoly aginst under 12s :P

Will be interesting to see how Curnow goes against the pies after playing GC and Tigers. Dont think he will get massive numbers but his price will go up.

im going to love it if he somehow cracks a 100 against the pies, i dont see it happening but would be great to see.

craig ye you are in the same boat as me....pocketing close to 400k and getting 2 super rookies (...atm) seems like the way to go..

the more into the season we go the less quality of rookies will be coming through BUT downgrading will still have to be done to upgrade....hence my thinking is downgrade to the best rookies on offer now and sit tight while they fatten then using the money from their downgrade BANG ablett rd 10 pendles rd 14 etc....

am i right guys...in my thinking????
