Just look at the injuries that Essendon have picked up...he is the perfect in for them

ESSENDON'S backline has taken a hit with defender David Myers to miss at least a month after he fractured a scaphoid bone in his wrist during last Sunday's loss to the Sydney Swans.

Myers will require surgery to insert a pin into the scaphoid, while ruckman David Hille (hip) and forward Angus Monfries (abductor) are also likely to miss Sunday's clash against St Kilda.

He will be in the side for at least 4 weeks to cover Myers...keep him, he is a gun!

Maybe change the title to 'Hibberd should play this weekend!' or 'Hibberd is likely to play this weekend!'. Title is a bit misleading.

Talk about jumping the gun... He's been injured & according to welly will play VFL this week...

Wellman... One of the assistants ::) he said it on bomber tv about a week ago. I doubt they will rush him back after they have said he'll play VFL this week.

If he is VFL this week... afl 3 weeks = still a price rise and a possibility to hold his spot.

well lets just hope that he does play or else i think i will have to trade him for libba or curnow as i dont want to miss the boat. I am already trading foley out for one of them so if hibberd doesnt play should i trade him for the other?
